TREBLEMAKERS
In 2013 Voca Lyrica created the TrebleMakers Youth Choir, with its mission to support vocal music opportunities for area youth. Each season participants in our youth choir receive a high-quality music education. Over the years, we’ve seen meaningful growth in our youth choir both in numbers and in musical skills.
One of our main goals is introducing participants to singing in parts, but students are not required to have musical experience before their first rehearsal. Enthusiasm and a love of music are great qualities for youth choir members beginning their singing journey.
- The TrebleMakers Youth Choir is open to all students grades 4th through 8th.
- The fall season begins mid-September with a concert in December.
- The spring season begins mid-March with a concert in June.
- Practices are Mondays 5:00-6:30 pm at the United Church of Big Rapids.
- Dues are $40 per year. If dues present a hardship, assistance is available.
